I finally found some time to play with the Simon Says Stamp January Card Kit. This was a fun kit to use...the colors are scrumptious... the papers very on trend... and the little goodies are delicious!!
I know it might be hard to tell...
but can you see the wood grain on the white cardstock?
I also used some NEW Hero Arts Mid-Tone inks... Charcoal and Pale Tomato!
Next up is a fun card where I've used a Tim Holtz Alteration Die
off center.... it takes the pressure off from trying to be perfect.
I stamped the circle image twice and lifted it up
to look like a little chalk board.
Oh and the adorable hearts??? New die set for Simon!

You wouldn't believe the road that brought me here. I watch Kristina Werner's card video on YouTube like I'm addicted. And I very well might be. :) She talks about Jennifer McGuire often so I checked out her videos. She did this gorgeous card for you in 2008 & that led me here. :)

I'm thinking about trying my hand at card making, but don't want to purchase a lot of supplies if it's not something I'm really interested in. Which I won't know until I try it. A card kit would be perfect. So *fingers crossed* I hope I win. :)
